Please consider joining us for one or all of the following on December 1, 2016:

2 pm - 3 pm  :  Cyber Liability Webinar

3 pm - 4 pm  :  Cyber Security Round Table: Prevention is the Best Practice, but what do you do if you have a breach? Discussion to include email encryption, GEO IP address blocking, mobile security issues, best practices for breach response and much more!

4 pm - 5 pm  :  Drinks are on us at Agave Azetca! Nebraska ALA would like to recognize our new members, say thank you to our current members and thank you to the Board for a fantastic, productive 2016. The traditional "Holiday Dinner" is actually in January this year to kick-start the new year, so let's have a quick cocktail or two now to say Feliz Navidad!

2 pm Cyber Liability Insurance Webinar: What You Need to Know

Every day the news has another story about a cyber-business breach. Law firms are often described as the weakest link in the business chain and have been warned by the FBI that law firms are now officially on the target list for international and domestic hackers. Join this webinar to hear how the latest cyber liability insurance policies can protect your firm. Uri Gutfreund is a great speaker and popular at many ALA conferences. In addition, Diane Nemer with Marcotte will be joining us to provide some tools and insight from her experience with cyber liability.

Objectives:

  • Identify how you can analyze your firms risk profile and determine the practice areas most risky and require your immediate attention
  • Examine how firms have been attacked and hear best practices that you can implement in your firm
  • Determine the key coverage minimums that you must include in your policies and what’s critical and what’s a waste of money
